Hello Mods,

Recently brought a handful of friends to the site and a question came up about posting pictures.

We spent some time trying to figure out why they couldn't post images in their threads even though they are posting the same link as myself.

Eventually we found out through word of mouth that new members cannot post until 15 post count is acheived. This is not located anywhere in the Rules , Help, FAQs etc.

I think it would be very helpful to have this information more readily available to new members. If it is posted somewhere, please let me know. Several people including long time community members also don't think it's posted anywhere.

Thank you.

Hey Erodish,

I think given the number of questions people ask in the general help about posting images - it might not be a bad idea. I even added the links in my profile to be able to copy-paste them quickly, and I definitely copy-paste them at least once a day :)

^ This is quite easy to get to and takes a simple search. However, again, for some reason, people don't search for it and still ask for help. I think maybe adding a separate sticky to general help about posting images will solve this minor problem.

I would add a poll to your topic to see how many people might agree with you. It will be helpful to get general feedback and response to see if your idea might get somewhere.

Hope this helps :)

In light of this thread, my suggestion is to find a different version of Tahoma where an underlined q can't be mistaken for a g

Sorry to add to another person's post, but it's a related topic (happy to post a new one if not allowed).

I am getting back to JSP with an old account and read through the New User Guide (https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=63392948&f=34). Similar to the minimum 15 posts required for screenshots, does the same rule apply for using emojis? I could not find it through search. I made few posts/replies on other forums and noticed that my emojis were not showing up, just the texts.

Also, is there a way to view/change your vote after you have voted on a poll? I don't even remember what I voted and it says "you have already voted on this poll". I like the idea about a sticky post about how to post images.

Sorry I figured all of it out. Can't edit the post anymore, so closing on my end / untracking. Enjoy the free bump!
