With d2r here, it seems as though its much easier and more frequent that people are getting scammed. Not only just scammed, but the same scammer is hitting multiple people before they are locked.

I believe my suggestion with help considerably to reduce people getting scammed.

I'm suggesting that the top portion of the scammer accusation section be viewable at the top of each trading page.
This would constantly show people who are actively trading, which users to watch out for.
It's embarrassing how frequently some users will trade with a users that has been reported several times already.

That would be a good idea to let everyone see at all time who is not to be trusted because I see tons of people accusing the same scammer because people will make an s/a then someone else and it will get pushed down so you don’t always see.

Would be immediately abused by people making false reports on their enemies in the bar and pub section, there is no need for this just use a mediator.

Just take a quick look at the S/A section before doing any big trades and/or use a mediator.

Lot of new players in d2r are not aware of that section until its too late. Also, not everyone is smart enough to consider that prior to trading. It would just be nice to see the potential bad people who are associated with the game we are playing. Since d2r released, jsps most users online went from 20k to 30k.

We need to have something changed and I figured I'd give my two cents on a good direction.

Also, this would potentially thwart people from scamming multiple users before being caught. If they know their name will be displayed at the top of the trade section, itll be more than likely they won't consider trying it again afterwards. I think this will make those sh*tbags think twice.

I think that's a great idea. However, it would need to be implemented in a much more compact way. If it will make the trading grounds less accessible or more inconvenient to use - then it is definitely not worth it. Trading is at the heart of this platform, and I doubt they will compromise its simplistic interface for the people who don't check S/A forum, which is a click away.

Overall, I would add a poll to this topic to see how many people agree with you. I think if it is done in a neat way - then it will be useful for sure. Perhaps, simply showing the list of the last 10 locked accounts somewhere permanently on every page could stimulate more attention to the S/A section and prompt more people to go there.
