I am suggesting the above because it's difficult to explain to new users how to request A mediator . Perhaps they're just trolling me 🤣

What's every bodies thoughts ?
Is there A method to requesting A mediator if OP doesn't know how to ?

Mediator list reads as follow.

"Reminder: Use the Request Mediator link in your topic for free mediation services.
The current average wait time is: ~1 minute. Trade safe!

** Do not message a mediator directly, always use the Request Mediator link."

I could see the idea back firing. Non-OP could potentially request mediator and waste mediator time . Temp suspension or + 10% warn if abused more than x ?

Thank you for your suggestion, this has been recommend before and there are no current plans for the current med process to change.

There is simply too much room for error, for an example, multiple users can bin items on a topic, they all request mediator which causes clogging.

Have newbies read the stickies = takes 5 minutes and solves the issue

Trading is a two way street.. the other person isn't obligated to trade w/o a Mediator.

I understand your suggestion, but had to respectfully vote no due to the abuse potential and the fact that the OP might not want to trade with the responder requesting a mediator.

It's already simple enough.
