as it takes a while to complete investigation, the scammers scam more before the investigation is completed.

Please show the scam allegation / prev investigation report on each user's profile.

Hi Winfield,

Thank you for your suggestion, the current S/A forum and their workflow is already working as intended. Previous scam allegations are just that, allegations and those they are accusing could be guilty. I don’t think we should be punishing innocent users based off user’s baseless claims. And if they are not baseless, the user will get locked.

Don’t want to get scammed? Request a mediation. That’s the only way to solve the root cause here

Thanks for the response, but I've been hearing people being scammed by old accounts even after multiple users have filed scam reports (they were scamming multiple users till they got their accounts locked). So I thought it might prevent at least few scams. (I agree with the previous allegations but maybe current allegation will be helpful - if they have open investigation.)

The issue is that, in the end, due process is there for a reason. If mere (unproven) accusations are used in this way, it could harm innocent people's reputation. There would probably be people posting unfounded accusations against others, simply out of spite.
The current procedure is based on the "innocent until proven guilty" principle.

If people want to be safe, they should be using a mediator. If they'd all do that, scammers would stand no chance.

Although, I agree that the 'innocent until proven guilty' should stay as it is, given it may take few hours or so to complete the investigation and as lots of scammers will try to scam as many as they can in that time, maybe we can prompt people to use the mediator function if the other party has an open investigation?

The S/A team already has a process that works,

If a scammer is on a scamming spree, they will be suspended upon further investigation of the accusations.

Once done, if the scammer is deemed guilty, their gold is locked, if not, they will continue to use the site.
