I believe for people that have countless years on this site with no issue at all should become verified traders. This can limit the amount of mediations that are required weekly on the med/trust tag team. I know this can be another liability, but moderators/tagged members can request these people be tagged. I understand med/trust tag is a honor and for people who has helped the site, but there are also people who have put in years of trading and being involved in this site that can be tagged "verified trader" to help bring down scams and med usage.

If you're a trader with many active years on the forum, you shouldn't need a tag. People would simply trust you based on your reputation.

Also, as you said, it would just be an added liability.

Reputation and years apparently mean poop to 2021 year users. Its a simple concept on the verified trader system. "moderators and tagged members put these people up for vote"

You're not any more trustworthy than a fresh 2021 account; regardless of what you might think. Everyone who is not rated is equal. Giving someone a pseudo trusted tag that falls between trusted and not rated is just a bad idea.

What your saying is my 15 years on this site and countless trades with no issues doesn't make me a better option for a verified trader than you? You have lost your 2021 mind. Put in the time then talk about being worthy.

Bogus statement. I think my 15 years and 6000 posts with 80k+ fg makes me a bit more trusted than a new user with 30 posts. Go look at the scammer accusation section for an hour, youll see who the scammers are, and theres a trend.
