What I suggest adding some comment functionality to mediated transactions like in the following picture:



Why?

• When I get a forum bank transaction with the comment "Trade Mediation #xxxx" I have to keep notes on who the trade was with and what it was for.
  
• I often use my previous transactions to see who I traded with & what the trade was about, especially to help me gauge market prices for the items I buy multiple of.
  

I guess it would seem like a pointless change to other people, but it's something I feel would take away some minor inconveniences.

They put the comment in, and choose what to put in it. IE (Trade Mediation #5794) 20/5 sc from xyz

I don't understand what you are trying to point out is wrong with the suggestion... the point is it is currently not possible to modify the comment away from "(Trade Mediation #5794)"

The point is mediators can just do Trade Mediation #XXXX

OP wants to be able to put a note in the section for himself, not the mediator lol.

The mediation comments are auto generated by the forum bank based on the mediation number. Mediators do not set these.

As far as customizing gold log comments - this isn’t going to happen. You already have the option to type in your own gold log comment when sending the forum gold (not through the mediation system) editing them after the fact won’t happen

Good idea, but they won’t do it.

Just send .01 fg to the guy you traded with and write the comment there

What about if "Trade Mediation #5974" was a link that was tied to the original trade thread?
