As of this morning, 10/16/2021, blizzard implemented a queue to log in. Took me about 22 minutes, other are claiming even longer queue times.
With that said, that means swapping servers will take 20+ minutes each time, and a one minute queue time to join a game.
Last week i would have said no to this, because of how fast it was to swap regions, but today I wouldn't even thinking about swapping to EU just for a quick trade.

No, the queue is temporary while they're fixing the game issues. The game is still global, and because of that it doesn't make any sense to split the Trading Regions.
Queues are also probably only going to happen in key hours, and usually on weekends.

I don't want to have to watch two different sections to do trades when the game is fully global.
