Hello guys,

i just wanted to let you know about my idea about reducing scamming in D2:R. It think it would be excellent for the users as well as the helpers in S/A!

In D2:R (can just speak for PC & PSN) you have a fix Gamertag/Account. Its not like in D2 where you have had 20 Account namens and guys can create multiple Accounts a day to scam.

So here is my idea: you have to expand programming. Every D2:R Trader has to deposit his unique Gamertag/Account ID into his d2jsp Account. When trade is negotiatet, you need a function/button to show up the traders unique Gamertag/Account ID for a limited time. New d2jsp Accounts with similar depositied unique ID's cant be created. Switching ID's can only be performed by d2jsp Adminis. Scammers will be locked after first attempt and have no more chances @ d2jsp.

Sorry for my bad english, hope you can understand my thoughts.

Regards.

I somewhat agree with this but how would mods verify?

I could make a new multi and submit your gamertag/account id before existing members.

I do enjoy the concept, but it opens room for lots of trolling as well.

It should not be possible for members to change id after being accused till case is managed

Add on: about the history of id's you have furthermore more Informations to get a case managed

As Vilify mentioned, this is not practical, and won't solve a majority of the scams that are occurring.

However, we do have something that will help tremendously! Please use the Request Mediator link in your topic. An overhaul of this feature was finished from the front to the back that makes it much easier to use, and wait times are significantly less. Since it went live last night, the average wait time for a mediator to accept your mediation and get it started has been under a minute!

You can help by letting others know about this as well, until we announce this more globally sometime later today.

Thanks
