Suggestion:
Allow trade thread posters to pay a small FG fee to have threads auto-bumped similar to how you can for the raffle. Bump my thread at the earliest allowable time, for the next (X) iterations.

Rationale:
D2R breaks the geo/regional barriers that original diablo 2 had. I can easily toggle to EU/AUS/NA to trade with anyone in the world. I'd like to bump my posts over my evenings/work days while people from other areas could get a chance to see my items and bid on them
Additional FG sink
Enhanced trade functionality
Might decrease early bumping as the automation would follow the trade rules

Reasons against
This might cause churn with people messaging people to "BIN" items outside the players legitimate activity, but this could likely be avoided with the bump message indicating it was an auto-bump, which also evangelizes the functionality.
I'm not sure if d2jsp needs to track legitimate posts versus ones that I have suggested - this might interfere with metrics regarding posts, threads?
Might defeat the spirit of engagement/community on d2jsp

Your "Reasons against" was the reason it was turned down when suggested years ago if I remember correctly

Thanks for the response - I'm not surprised it has been suggested I tried to be impartial in the suggestion, and I do realize that those are powerful "reasons against"

No, it would fall victim to the picker effect -- bumping for post count and not actually selling items.

Too easy to abuse and like you mentioned people will try to bin items while the person who "bumped" the thread isn't actually around. Not worth it, imo. If you're online and available to trade, bump your thread when it's legal. Otherwise.. no big deal, you're not around to trade anyway
