If the volatility of crypto scares anyone, there are many crypto payment processors that convert that crypto to USD (% of your choice).

My suggestion is simply to allow ppl to have more payment options. There is no real risk here for admins, they are ultimately providing forum gold which has no value outside this forum.

Let's also be real, the forum gold supply chain is unlimited, whereas there is a rather short supply of Bitcoins.

There’s just zero reason to have this, I am sure we all like holding crypto, but we should also be aware it’s value as a currency is none, it is just a store of value and nothing more.
