I personally see no reason to give D2:R its own discussion forum. Everything that applies to D2 applies to D2:R in there and if you are making a discussion only around D2:R its easy to mention that in the title or the post itself.
A no from me.

everything that applies to D2 does NOT apply to D2R. the pv strategy section will need to be overhauled noting there are differences (i.e. stuff that will no longer work or be useful).
its hard enough to find stuff in legit dueling etc nevermind when its a different game.
however you are entitled to your own opinion, thank you for posting.

Edit: if you are wanting to organise a duel/tour, how would we go about this at the minute?

D2 has 'legit dueling' is there anything for D2R?

Strategies won't have changed? Unless there are new items/runes available.....seems not?
Then again, saying that.... synch and wsg no longer work, so things would be very different (with regards to pvp guides).

No need for trophy room when no items or the way stats are rolled are any different.

I think a PvP section could be okay. Would also like to see softcore console trading, hardcore console trading and classic console trading.. Legacy player vs monster area turned into walkthroughs but I think it can be a cover all for Baal/chaos/Ubers/ single player all in one tbh. Wont need mod/private realms for d2r for a bit I'd think.

Edit: I do think we need separate things like the pvm stated above because legacy and d2r chars can not play together. They on 2 separate battle nets.

You could get rid of some like diablo clone hunters and player vs monsters but we definitely need everything else. This should be implemented asap.

At minimum pvp and trophy room should be separated for obvious reasons. They have patched ethereal glitching and sort of function as 2 different games. Every exile needs to be prefaced with d2r or regular?
