Hello,
My suggestion is for the notifications to live permanently somewhere like a notification bell in the top corner that opens a mini window for like YouTube has for example.
The reason is, when you get multiple notifications, you have to "open in new window" or else you lose all notifications if you click any of the links directly.
Hitting "Back" resolves this but you can imagine the hassle that is...
Or maybe I don't fully understand the notification system here - lmk
