This should be addressed ASAP before people start using it as a scam attempt.

As it stands currently - writing these fake sent gold messages only warrants someone 10% warn when it should be an instant lock of your gold. Proof

This sets a huge precedent for others that it's basically just a slap on the wrist for such a major violation.

this can be misleading to newer users, and is never acceptable to do.

This IS misleading to ALL users. It's not a "can be misleading" situation at all and it's disappointing to see such a lackadaisical approach for such a blatant breach in d2jsp's security.

I'm not sure of a good solution, as a real FG sent message looks like that ^^.

It's obviously fake and just a written message. It also wouldn't show in that user's logs.

Sometimes you can't control trolls, they will always circumvent and get around things for "The lulz"

What if you refresh and all you see is the PM tilted "XXXXX has sent you 5.00 Forum Gold." so you accept?

Should the onus fall on the persons ignorance that made them fall for it? With the influx of new users, aka users who have never done FG transactions at all, they have no idea how those "real" messages look like.

The trade in game. You refresh d2jsp, see the message show up at the top so you assume the user sent you FG, so you alt tab back to d2 and hit the checkmark.

Oh. I get what you're saying now (the correct way would be to check gold logs for confirmation), but could see that happening

I just don't know a good solution on how to block those messages. As those words can be used in a different context outside of sending FG

This is true, but people who are just signing up for the first time probably have no idea this exists or what the messages look like when FG is actually sent.
