If we have search functions for words in trade forums I believe we should have the same in the scammer accusation forum.

Where there's smoke there's fire a lot of the time (not always)
It'd be nice to see before trading a user if they have been mentioned within the Scammer Accusation forum at all & then you could go thru the thread to see why.

Then you can leave it up to yourself whether or not you want to trade with a certain user.

I feel this would be beneficial to new and returning players.

I don't think this is really needed. Any active scammer accusations are normally bumped every 24 hours so if you just pay attention in that section you won't have a general need for a search.

Further If you want to get a feel on someone it takes 5 fg to go through their trading grounds history. Should be plenty things in that to allow you to judge if they are someone you wish to trade with.
Then of course you can go that extra mile to request a mediator for safer trades.

With the influx of d2r scams it's near impossible to keep track.

Would just help see who/what/how/and why someone was accused etc & would be a super simple addition.

Yea but being accused and being found guilty are totally different from one another. I just don't see any overall real practical use. It sounds like it will just lead to more drama/spam in the trading grounds. You don't have to keep track of everyone. All the clear cut baddies get scammer tagged and the rest of them end up resolving the disagreements. Truly scammer accusations isn't there to help keep track of every scammer or potential scammer. It is there to help users 1 solve disagreements by having a moderator make a decision and 2 to make sure users who would clearly and maliciously scam will face a punishment and if they wish to regain trading privileges they must repay their scams. If you are scared of getting scammed the only way to go is by requesting a mediator.

We have added a search to the S/A forum. Please note the following:
1) The results only display OPEN topics. Once a topic is closed the results are purged from the search results.
2) This only searches the previous 120 days of topic history.
3) It will only show topics that were created in the forum, not topics that were moved to it (however, these end up closed anyway).
