With d2r launch and mass of people returning to forum for trade, new topics last only a few seconds on front page. If someone scams they have a good chance to scam multiple people in a short period.
Scammer Accusations, as always, does it's job thoroughly before locking the person if guilty. This is a slow process.

My suggestion is to give accused traders new tag.
Accused ,or something like that, which does not change ability to use FG or trade in general. It would be there just to let people know that the person they are planing to trade with is accused of scam.
Accused traders should always need to give first to ensure fairness and minimise risk.

This would be abused within minutes of being implemented.

How do you abuse something that has no value other than to warn? Also this would not be an automatic task, SA helpers would be the judge if it's needed.

Not a good thing because if you get accused for no reason you will get a tag..the system is working good until now and s/a team is doing a great work ! Alot of case are closed faster !

Honestly this wouldn’t work and if you feel the need to trade but want the other person to give first or vise verse using a mediator is your best bet giving another tag won’t solve the scamming problem just use your best judgment and of all else fails find another trader.. you can accuse anyone of attempting to scam and that alone just gives the mods more work to do.

This plays kinda off this topic but not a time out. Can cause drama and a good user to be ousted and locked for doing nothing at all.

8 scams in 1 hour period, at least half could have been prevented with 1 watch out tag.

With your innocent players would be tagged for nothing argument? It takes effort to collect evidence to post to SA. Would a "Njaguar scammed me" with just my word and 0 evidence get him tagged with Accused tag? No chance. And this goes for any other account.

Just like now, it takes inventory, in game chat, PM, topic and gold log picture to make an argument. When you have all those and repeat accusations anyone with half a brain can see something is fishy and with reason apply not a Lock tag but a Watch Out tag.

As I've said it does not lock a person in any way other than to warn people who might wish to trade.

They all happened minutes apart from eachother. Mods aren't on 24/7 to tag people.
This isn't a good suggestion I'm afraid.
