Sure you can wait until the game starts to die down and trading goes back to normal levels, but people are clearly abusing the lag time it takes for the s/a process to result in a lock.

3 active s/a posts or whatever should result in a temporary fg lock until one of them can be resolved. Perhaps even a new flag in lieu of scammer. This can even be in the discretion retino of the s/a helpers instead of being mandatory.

We have policies and procedures within the SA in place to handle these sort of situations already - these actions are taken by the SA moderators (not the SA helpers). Every situation is different, and there are times when us SA moderators are not immediately available to handle these, which is unfortunate but this is something that needs to be done manually and adding any form of "automation" to this could easily lead to abuse.

The abuse being false reports, resulting in a slight inconvenience. This seems like a worthy trade-off.

It’s not going to affect me either way, but you can clearly see new users being turned away form this site and investing in FG after being scammed. But business is business.

False reports causing an innocent user to get locked is not a worthy trade off.

We already have precautionary measures in place for situations like the one you mentioned. Eric's post explains this. We will not be adding a temporary locking system.
