Idea:

Add a new sub forum within the scammer accusation forum.

It would be where the public can post information or input they have about a particular case. In this sub forum you would only be able to post once every 24 hours or something barring like that. This would give the public a chance to add useful information or expertise without becoming general chat. It could help cases be decided more efficiently.

It could be called "Case Information" or "Public Outreach" something along the lines.

I don't think it is necessary.
Too many would not post the truth and it will end in spam.
In addition, it would be even more work for the S/A team to see whether and what helps/is correct.

How exactly?

Most cases that end up running for months or even years are "unperm as perm" related.
The reason being that it's always word against word. Vouches and reputations are irrelevant as nobody actually knows the history of their traded items.

Other cases are dealt with once enough proof is up, and I can't see some random or "public" having such.
