Like the OPs looks terrible to me because I view d2jsp at 1440p. haha. He must play at 800x600 lol

Yours looks fine, but as soon as you start factoring in that fact every user doesn't use the same resolution monitor and the fact that d2jsp has no dynamic profile resolution, viewing it as a generic user won't work.

For example... if you create a background image to match 1080P, it'll look great to other users at 1080p and only 1080p.

Knowing that others don't see my hidden sections is enough for me so I'm going to vote no.

If the profiles changes in appearance drastically between what we see and what other users see then I'd be all for it - but it's the exact same in this case

Not needed if you ask me. We don't have the amount of security options like e.g. Facebook where you would need to view your profile from different perspectives.

The DL and DT tags when hiding a section are still there after you hide it. Thus, it's not really what your profile looks like to another user (because when they view your profile, that section is gone)
