implement phone numbers please..... incase people find out your passwords.... this would ensure that you can recover your account 100%

It’s hard enough remembering two passwords (gold/acct) and remembering which is which. If there was a poll I’d vote no.

In addition to this we already have a recovery process that goes way beyond what most sites offer.

We won't be adding any support for phone numbers as they would just open an avenue where false recoveries could be requested. You share your phone number with quite a few other people, what is to stop them from submitting a request with your number then claiming they changed their number? Calls and text messages alike carry much larger costs vs email and when were talking world wide(supporting literally every single country) it gets even more difficult and costly. Email is the de facto standard and the method we will continue to use exclusively.
