i feel like some people (myself included) save old messages in our inbox for any number of reasons but would still like to "delete all" the typical daily messages.

my idea would be have a sliding bar you can adjust in your inbox (click and drag) so the people who use it alot could and the people who dont want to use it wouldnt have to, anything above the bar is lost and anything below the bar would be saved.

this would allow the old messages to still be saved and allow the rest of the inbox to be cleared with a singleish click.

im not pc savy enough to have a dope pic like some of these suggestions but i hope my point is clear enough

I have not voted yet.
But why dont you make your own folder with the pms that you do not want to delete?
Then they would no longer be in the normal inbox.

Move everything you want to keep into the custom folder and then just delete the rest. Voting no on this as I don't see it as necessary or really even beneficial beyond the current system capabilities.
