So, the burning crusade prepatch hits tonight/tomorrow depending on your region, and shortly the expansion will be released (June 1st)

With this, Blizz will separate classic players from TBC players with different servers, therefor I think we should also have separate trade forums for TBC, to avoid confusion when trading.
What do you think?

I think maybe something more of a function to sort classic from bc in the subforums in a similar way you can sort iso from fts or up top alliance or horde

Yes, its needed. Either to sepereate or rename the current to Classic/TBC (Or something like that).
TBC trading should be a very common thing here on Jsp as Classic was so I expect some heavy traffic in these games the upcoming month after release

So the way it will work is that TBC will have it's own servers, like "Bronzebeard" etc.?

If that's the case, I don't think it's necessary for any sort of filter or new forum because the way WoW trading works is that you put your server in your title/post regardless because trades are server specific
Users can simply continue to do this and there should be no confusion

My mistake, the characters will still be on the same server but classic characters and TBC characters will not be able to interact with each other as they will be on different layers.

^ As you can see, Stabaton and Demonhuntard are on TBC while Gnomestomper and Tootmypants are yet undecided, but they are still on the same server (Earthshaker PVP)

I don't personally think creating a new subforum would be required. Instead, using the new tag system which was implemented for the D2 HC Trading Grounds (example) might be a better solution, that way you just pick between "Classic" or "TBC"/"The Burning Crusade" when creating your trade topics.
