If it already exists my bad and where do i find the info?


Suggestion is add a timer only the topic creator can see showing the timer count down before you can retry and make the topic more rule following

IE

I made a topic asking a question about an app.

Got off topic and post was closed.

On attempt to remake the topic, it told me i need to wait awhile before attempting again.

Not a huge deal but would be cool to have an idea of how long since at times i can be impatient.

I think the wait time is an hour before reposting a topic if it was closed either by a mod or from bumps.

A lot of people don't really follow that, it's kind of like speeding on a freeway.

There was a guy recently who posted 8 topics in 1 hour selling the same thing.. they were closed back to back to back lol. This only happens though if it's reported and there's a mod supervising the section, otherwise I'm sure it falls under the pile of reports that happen.

So the wait time which youre not sure of, Is an hour.

Im not asking for something crazy, just a small timer that counts down from when it was closed. Probably a very easy add.

And dont get me wrong, im not trying to post a bunch of threads to get closed. But, it would be nice when it happens to know how long.


I think you may be misunderstanding the ordeal. After the thread closed, i had no way of getting around it or not follow it. I had to wait an undisclosed amount of time.

I'm not sure what section you're asking about, maybe there's a difference between them all, but the person that posted a bunch of topics that got closed was in the trading grounds.

I dont think I've ever seen a timer on topics made, even in my early days of early bumping and getting closed. Maybe the warn % affects?

1 hour is the allowed time, the person kept making threads regardless and they were closed. There isn't a set timer, the 1 hour limit is enforced by hand and not by the system.

I get what you're asking. I just am confused where you're having a timer placed. Like what section forced you to wait to post.

Nah the 20% is fairly recent and ive had this happen prior in a different section.

But ya trading grounds might be different.

Bnp was the section just recently.
