Not sure why this doesn't exist yet but I got maxed amount of topics tracked and sometimes it's annoying to see the notifications
I click the notification and always try to click this "button that doesnt exist" to untrack only to realize I have to go in my tracked topics...find the topic, click the box and delete it

Takes too long and this is easier

Excuses my bad paint skills
Or the "track button" could simply disappear once a topic is tracked and untrack topic appears so it's easier on the eyes

If implemented just have "track topic" change to "untrack topic" no need another button, were after a clean site not more clutter.

/edit
I'll null
I can see it being useful but lets be honest few people track that many topics that this is an issue imo.

Yes that's what I meant, either what I posted or what you said. just wrote it wrong.
Either works for me, dont really care.

The current one is a bit of a mess to untrack imo

I think it would be better to add something like "silence" or "retire" topic/forum. This doing just that, silencing or retiring a topic/forum and all notifications from that area.

As for user-friendly topic tracker services I suggest an update to user account topic tracker settings. What specifically? I am not sure. Does it need an update? Again I don't really know but I think that would be the correct direction to go.

I think that the current process of controlling all of your topic/forum tracking from the "Tracker" page is optimal.
I can't see any huge benefit to untracking from each topic individually.

You can turn off push notifications for specific topics you track :)
Just select the topic you want to mute in your Tracker -> Edit Selected -> uncheck "push notify" on the right.
