I'm going to use Blizzard, Facebook and Instagram as examples here with their support ticket system, if you report content, it creates a support ticket. You get all notifications about the status of said support ticket, when it's resolved it gets closed, and any one or multiple members of the support staff are able to chime in and handle things on an availability basis.
So my suggestion and some elaboration:
Add support ticket system for the following:
Subsection* Request/cancel med queue as an alternative to this: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=82359286&f=258
Support tickets system for account issues/general issues for matters that aren't necessarily deemed public view (General Help forum)
Signature violation/profile/etc reporting system, similar to the multi report system > Rather than blindly pming a member of staff clogging up their inbox, or if you're like me, always accidentally messaging the incorrect user group (would save both users and staff time)

Additional ideas, though not important: ability to pay maybe 5 fg to "escalate" something and put your report/question/whatever at the top of the "support queue"
Embed warn removal/suspension system into the support queue to avoid unnecessary posts/spam/encouragement of trolls responding.
Expansion on suspension system* as is, when you get a suspension, until it leads to receiving warn, you get a pm informing you of why you were suspended, but as far as I know there's no log of this unless you make it to the point of getting warn (I learned from personal experience 😂)


Some of features I'm sure already partially exist on the backend as far as things like the post reporting system goes, I'm certain there's a report/med panel/queue as most forum softwares have these built in by default (though jsp uses it's own software) - it would be nice to be able to have a "live update" on the status of your report/issue/etc, especially for people who are impatient and want to bombard jsp staff with pms when they don't get instant responses.

Think snowball effect, user with 50%+ warn with no pm access is forced to post in GH to request warn removal, a few spam posts and flames later, a mod finally gets around to responding and closing topic. How many +1's could be avoided with a feature like this that's easily accessible?

And for all the mini-mods out there (not intended as an attack, just a form of expression) would get all kinds of feel goods for having live updates of reported topics/signature violations, and the like.

I feel as if this would cut down on a lot of unnecessary spam both in forums and in pms to staff, as well as bring an organized central location and perhaps a quality addition to the site.

Thoughts? Ideas? Hate it? Love it? Additional suggestions to add/improvements to the idea? Post 'em up!

We strive to deal with all reports as fast as possible and on average our response time is well within a reasonable time frame. Thank you for your suggestion but at this time we are not considering adding a ticket system as you describe.
