So since the change every time I log in I have to change my settings back because jsp recognizes my pc as a new device each time.

I understand I can turn off my addons that stop cookies and people can leave incognito mode, but this is a hassle for a change that was meant to be a quality of life.

My suggestion is to add a settings "checkbox" that allows us to save our settings as a baseline for all future devices. (basically going back to how it was previously if we check that box)

I'd like this as well as I do the same and I find this feature is driving me up a wall constantly needing to reapply it as I am someone who doesn't need multiple settings my one works on both devices just fine.

I'm fine with this.

Also, add a Poll.

There are no plans at this time to support incognito mode for saved settings. Incognito mode by nature is intended to discard all saved cookies/settings.
