So,

I am a member of a clan in which the leader hasn't been online since 2017. It kills growth opportunity and degrades the worth of the guild.

I suggest allowing for a guildmate to purchase the guild after a certain amount of time; if the owner is MIA.

The price would have to reflect cost of FG spent by owner and then a bit of profit. Other rules up to those that be.

It is the leader's decision to sell or not, even if they becomes inactive.

As of now, which is why it's a suggestion. The owner would be rewarded with profit, if they choose to come back.

Actually, that's how I feel about your suggestion.

I agree with Djsem, it’s the leaders choice to go afk and not sell the guild, maybe it’s time for you to move on and find a new guild or make your own.

This has to be a hard no from me

There are a million reason why people leave the site, sometimes real life just gets in the way and it's not possible to get on
Other times it's a choice to leave for a long period of time
But regardless of the situation it's not fair to just rip something away from someone that they put time, effort, and FG into

Despite peoples reason for leaving, who knows what they look forward to coming back, some might not care that the guild changes hands, others will raise hell about it.
