Before closing this suggestion (pointed directly at Sire a Mediator) take into account the facts.

I went to report the thread as directed with your post, BUT, I was unable to because it was already reported, but, you decided to close my thread with your comment WITHOUT reading it thoroughly... your comment proved this point and you closed the suggestion:

"If you see a violation use the report button and the staff will review and deal with it accordingly when they have time, If it is porn ( like the above ) PM it to a staff member that moderates the area or higher. Reporting something via the button multiple times wont help anything"

My suggestion is to have the chance to "Report" the post even if it was already reported so that mediators like yourself or others that are ONLINE at the time to respond QUICKLY to close the thread OR, make the post "INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT" without closing a LEGITIMATE thread. It isn't about reporting it multiple times, it is about cleaning up the site.

This is just a suggestion for people to either vote yay or nay whether it gets added is another story, so how about letting the thread run its' course without shutting it down because you think it is irrelevant, you are NOT the only person on jsp that wants to make the site a safer place or environment for others.

I think moderators know perfectly well and better than us what help them moderate the site better, if he says reporting posts multiple times does not help, ask yourself why you’re advocating this suggestion with seemingly zero benefits to the stakeholders you’re wanting to help. From a consultancy point of view it seems rather pointless, but besides that, automating a system that censors posts based on amount of reports can just be abused without human judgement, and is in no way needed on d2jsp. Most posts that break the rules are minor things such as trade rule violations, and in the event content of sexual nature is posted pming a moderator is probably faster and more efficient. I think with this suggestion you’re just creating more room for error.

Stop reposting, If a staff member closes a topic it is for a reason.
