Searching a specific trade through golds logs is sometimes time consuming especially when you pause away d2jsp from time to time.

Example 1 :

For my account, I have actually 124 entries in the select. Let's say I did one trade in april 2012, two in 2014 (may and june) and one more in september 2016 and nothing else. Checking the checkbox would allow me to have only four entries in the select box and I would browse gold logs way faster.

Example 2 :

An old user who comes a couple of months on d2jsp every years and wants to check on a very old trade. The trade could have happened in 2007, 2008, 2009 or even early 2010.

He would have to check his gold history for ~36 months. And what if he was mistaken and the trade was in fact in early 2011 ? that would be ~12 months to checks.

Proposition :

So my suggestion would be to add a simple checkbox, by default unchecked, like in this screenshot (obviously design is a little crap, sorry) :

and when clicking on the checkbox it would makes an AJAX call repopulating the select with only months where there is at least one entry.

The point is also, that as long the checkbox is not used, there is no need to change a single thing , so this is litteraly just a feature add with no breaking changes

They added the ability to export your gold logs by year, I doubt they’re adding anything further tbh

Amusing, I did not know about this feature.

But tbh I don't see anything overly complicated in my feature suggestion and furthermore, having your golds logs as .csv or .txt is cool when you do tons of trade and want to run some scripts against the data but apart from that I don't see what the point is.
If you want to sell a special item and the buyer asks for a s/s of gold logs, the .csv just helps you find it more easily.

The point of this suggestion is really for lambda user.

Anyways I don't have any hopes tho, design or UX wise nothing has changed on this site so it's not like suggestions are taken into account.

Saw some very interesting suggestions that would be extra usefull but are not yet implemented...

Just to link one of the most obvious : https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=59698161&f=258 there is literally ~250 pages with ~80% yes yet no news...

This.

With Excel, the user can manually export any data they need with the right filters.

But hey, ill vote yes for the clause

Tbh that does not fit the use cases I proposed.
Yes you can export your trade data as a csv, well you could even use XPATH or whatever to crawl the site and get even more proper data, that's not the point.

Would be nice to see the Months where no forum gold was used/received be removed automatically from the year you select.
Would be nice if you could also Tick a box just to view "Gold In" or "Gold Out" or leave them both clear to view "All"
Would be nice if you could also select a price range "From" / "To" to also reduce the list.

Not sure if that would help also.

Did not vote for now.
