if you're actively trading with the topic then you should be able to keep it "actively" up to date after couple of days, making it so you can edit it forever until closed/you stop. (which we can already do)

If I didnt sell anything for couple days I need to remake a thread because people doesnt read updates, I'm not selling SOJ's, I'm selling charnames and its not easy to sell them

all you need to do is hit the edit / save button every couple days and it stays editable. The way it works now is fine.
