You forgot to add a poll... With that said, you've never been allowed to post give away's in the trading grounds... They are meant for trades, not give a ways. Previously, we used the events section but that has since been removed an we're now directed to the Diablo II discussion section were they have a stickied give away topic. Personally, I would be ok if they were to add another tab for the trading grounds and labeled it "Give away" instead of "Service" but I understand how and why it is the way it. Yes it's a bit vague, but the rules clearly state that the trading grounds are meant for trades and give a ways are not trades by any means.
Yeah it was an honest mistake on my part and I should have just checked around before making the post. My bad in the first place, I just wish it was outlined a bit clearer somewhere either in the rules itself or on the services tab. I'm sure I'm not the first to get a warning nor will I be the last, it's just a bit to easy to make that mistake and it could easily be prevented with further clarification or writing somewhere.
Just was venting a bit in my OP as it's pretty easy for someone new to make a similar mistake and I'm sure it would save the hassle for everyone involved if it was a bit more clear. Thanks for the response and clarification, Stories ^^
edit: looks like a similar thread was posted that I missed:

That's understandable, and to your point, very true... The rules are kinda vague in some aspects, poor choice of words is what it really comes to. It's certainly not the first time it has happened, and your right it won't be the last, many people are unaware of the sticky in the discussion section, and many others can't be bothered to use it, though I don't see this being allowed in the trading grounds any time soon. Simply do your best to follow the rules in the future and your good to go. Have a great day!
Thanks man
