This is a straight forward feature I would love to have. I believe that most users want this as well, at least when the user is offline.

Also this question is for the meds/admins.

I know even if this feature was to come, it is going to take a long time. I am a Masters CS degree holder and I love to program to make my life easier. I am planning on writing a Selenium application to read my PMs and notify me when I am offline and I haven't read it. I just want to make sure it is nothing against d2jsp rules.

Also if it is okay to do it, is it okay for me to share the application with fellow users who might want this feature?

It is very limited and works only on Desktop. I want it on my iPhone. I can build an app to notify myself. I just want to make sure it is not against any rules

Blame apple for blocking this functionallity in safari, and only allowing safari for being the only browser available.. And no im not an apple hater, i use an iphone aswell. But this is just a design flaw of apple

So pm one of the (senior) mods about this. The entire subforums for suggestions isn't a jury or something lol
