Hi Moderators and JSP Community,

I just want to point out that the price checks in the D2 forum are a bit scary to use. You never know what people's intention are, whether they want to help or "price scam" you.

May I suggest a general forum for price checks for all realms. Although realms have different prices it will give you a better objective view on the rarity, and thus the price of the certain product.

The people that posts in the topic may write: 'This is the price in this realm'

I'm pretty sure that would just complicate things.

If a person isn't sure about a price, they can always check for similar items that have been sold.
If there are no similar items to be found, then just take offers until you're comfortable enough to sell it.

With a separate forum there you still wouldn’t know if someone’s “price scam you” personally I haven’t seen such sort of thing.

I don’t think comparing prices across realms is really relevant because at the end of the day prices are set by supply and demand of said item. (Which would vary as realms have different player base)

You can also use HardyTarget’s suggestion by using the search bar in the trading grounds to see what other people have sold the same item for.

People offer what they offer. People sell for what they sell. Say an item is set at 1k doesn't mean it will be bought or sold at that price. Prices are decided by both parties and the prices are different every ladder. You can't put set prices for ladder resets and as the time progresses prices go down. The trading sections already have price check options where you ask the communities an overall opinion on an items worth.

We already have price guides for non ladder, but you can't really make one for ladder.

So this isn't a need for the site as it already has the features it needs. There is no such thing as a price scam and if anybody talked you into buying something at a ridiculous price, that's just being irresponsible yourself.

If someone post with an alternative motive, at least you have someone that wants to buy it.

I'm my experience, i mostly find someone that say its worth "500 fg", but never ever get an offer for even a single fg.

Voted no, and fully agree with Tittys (and not only because of the name haha)

take people's opinion with a grain of salt
wait for several prices to get a better idea if you feel uncomfortable with another users estimate ^^

Get multiple opinions, and use the search function near the top of the section to find similar items. Voted no.

There used to be a price check forum but nobody ever replied to threads except people who were pretending to be helpful to try and get a trusted tag, and most of those players don't know what they're talking about.

Voted no. If you just want people to agree with you instead of giving an accurate price check just keep bumping your thread until someone gives you the p/c you want to hear.
