As of now the only sort is by most recent reply. I would like to have the option to see threads in a forum listed by most recently created. My reasoning for this is many sub forums have several threads that are always bumped up to the top; being able to sort to see most recent threads created would help not miss new threads.

It could be helpful, although I suppose that it would require major changes in site code, probably would be necessary to make dynamic tables (like these in Wikipedia) or option in user's profile. It is probably a lot of work and maybe also possibility of slowing down site for all users. Although I am not skilled in this area, and maybe some nice solutions exist my vote null, good luck with your suggestion.

This will not happen. The table sizes are huge already and adding more keys will make them larger and have a performance impact.

In the trade forums, the FT, iso etc tabs already pseudo sort in this way.
