Hi, I am a new user here, but it seems that current limit works fine for many years, and that's why I voted for "No". I am using option of displaying 25 posts per page, and 4-pages threads are already quite hard to navigate for me, in my opinion limit of 100 answers is nice in case of trading threads. When this limit is exhausted, then user can post new thread with first post being up-to-date, so that searching for relevant information is easier, probably also for S/a team members. I hope that it will stay as it is now, but let's see what more experienced users will say.

It has been addressed in the past since the prior limit was 60 many years ago.

I think there isn't really a need to increase the current limit. You can immediately remake your topic once it gets closed due to the post limit. Imo 100 is more than enough. If someone had a bid in a topic that reached the post limit then remake and link that thread with the current offer and keep the first posts up to date, so people don't have to go hunting for current offers in 100+ posts.

The only thing you might lose is the 5-15 FG for the italic/bold/red if you bought that, but that's really not much FG. Also a topic that has 100 posts has usually been around for many days, so either way you got your FGs worth for the title features.

I would support an option to pay fg for an extension for users who have long standing or permanent topics.
