A suggestion that I have is to show a small summary of the post in the notification itself. Even just a few words or so.

For exanple: (person) posted in (thread), “hey I’ll bin ammy” etc.
Or: (person) posted in (thread), “please see my FT list bel...”

This might help streamline reviewing notification lists and help eliminate confusion of opening same notification twice (clicking on notification but forgetting to delete or reading post before opening notification list), as well as making it easier to manage and/or cherry pick important notifications above others. Like if someone says “free hump” vs “I’ll
Bin now” etc.

Hi, my vote is yes, for me it would be helpful to see first few words of posts. I don't know how much work it needs, and whether it would have an impact on forum performance, in my opinion these properties would need to be considered too.

Or even if the auto bump feature didn’t send out notification.
An example I had 5 notifications one day from user that bumped his topic 5 times.

However the first few words of a post would be super helpful too.

All in all still a great feature and props to jsp team for killin it and doin an awesome job. Keep it up fellas
