I would kindly ask if its possible whenever you get a push notification to also get a sound> like a short *beep or something. Sometimes im near the PC but not looking at it; and thus i lose alot of notifications

Im not always looking at the computer screen, so a sound announcer would be great!

I think this small adition would be insanely usefull for MANY d2jsp forum users

Not needed since the new updated that all the Google Chrome notifications now go through the Action center of Windows 10 and there you can enable a sound.

not everyone has windows 10.

The feature of a sound with a push notification is based on the Action center of Windows 10.
so to your question, no.

initially i was thinking of a PHP script planted in theforum core( of d2jsp )
not something that users need to search and install individually/ separately of d2jsp..

did some research over the web and it seems there are such scripts, where the developer uploads a tiny sound file on the server, and a script is triggered along with the push notification.

also, in the profile settings should be ( if possible ) an extra option to toggle sound for push notifications: on or off

if its something it cannot be done, i understand

but by the looks of it people are not hyped about this feature, so ill leave it here.
