I think it would be beneficial if we were able to hide topics we know we won't ever be interested in

Something simple where you click the row and it minimizes and you have an option somewhere to view hidden topics or keep them hidden

I’m not sure the return on investment would be worth it. Those posts aren’t preventing you from seeing the ones you do want with a little effort, so Im not sure I’d be on board with that . In my opinion, Im sure there would be considerable coding necessary and it justs as effective to ignore the ones I don’t want and scroll by.

Voted no, but that’s just my 2 cents 🙂

The thing is, in ladder slasher forums you will have a very specific set of things you're looking for. Generally speaking once you look at a thread you know you either do, don't, or possibly need something from it. The probably ~60%+ you know you don't need anything from it would be nice to hide those so you don't see em every time you bump
It also might let the seller know his/her item(s) aren't getting much interest based on the amount of views after repeated bumps once people have gotten a chance to hide topics

Well then, perhaps some ladder slasher users could weigh in a bit more. I don’t use the ladder slasher forum so I don’t experience any of those problems.

Perspective is everything - I’m just one voice 😉

I understand, I appreciate your input. I am unaware of what that sort of coding would entail

No problem. I could be completely wrong and that’s totally fine. Let’s see what the regular slashers have to say.

Take care and good luck with your suggestion 😉

how would you unhide these threads if done by mistake?
would you have a list of every thread you ever hid?
would they auto vanish after x time and reappear?

I can see it being beneficial to some but I doubt it would be used by most.

No, its a request for bugs for a feature that will never be known or used.

No, use a user side script for something like this.
