Suggestion.

Should using another d2jsp users trading game without their permission to conduct your own trades be illegal/warnable?

Example: User A invites user B to trade. User B invites user C and D to trade in user A's game without their permission. User A is also drop trading because other users encourage drop trading.

I think both should be specified in the d2jsp trading rules because people have zero common sense.

drop trades aka any trades that are dropped on the ground:

Should drop trades be illegal?

Example A: User A invites user B to their game and drops the item on the ground for user B instead of usng the trade screen.

Example B: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=78927288&f=169

I would imagine both of these trading tactics create an extra headache for the WAIL team.

Can you justify why either of these situations deserve punishment?

Yes, because then users that do not follow the rules I listed blight the trading grounds with their tears that they got scammed.

Posting whine threads about getting scammed is already against the rules. Your argument is redundant.

If the trade was by drop and it was illegal then both of them broke the rules. How is it punishable

no to both, and my reasoning.

first- slapping a password on a game doesn't make the game yours. it is listed as a private game, but it is not "your" private game.

second- most players that are scammed from drop trades, are the ones dropping items. the problem here is proving the other player in question planned and completed a theft using "fg" as a promise of payment.
this rule would only penalize people claiming to have lost items. at best you couldn't prove you lost items. at worst you proved you tried to obtain "fg" with a drop-trade and would now be penalized on top of being scammed.

This would change absolutely nothing.
It's similar to making a list of all names you aren't allowed to insult people with.

Also people with zero common sense don't even bother reading the rules/policies and you can regularly find them in the s/a forums blaming the jsp staff.
