So many pending requests go unnoticed. Should users receive a pm notification when a someone sends them a request? I personally think this would be a nice and simple addition.

What do you think?

All you have to do is enable push notifications and you’ll get friends request notifications

I haven't really added many people personally.
I've added 2 people in 2016, 2 in 2015, and everyone else on my list between 2009-2013.
With that being said, if someone were to add me, I wouldn't know unless they also sent me a pm saying that they did.
I don't often go to my friends list to check if anyone did or not.
I don't use jsp on my phone, and I wouldn't want notifications from jsp popping on my phone either.
In fact, over 90% of my phone notifications are turned off, because I don't want things that aren't important distracting me.

While this particular feature doesn't affect me so much personally, I wouldn't see the harm in it.
It would be nice to get a little heads up if someone wanted to add me as their friend ^_^
