Bias:
I don't have the best vision, so I intentionally have to increase the size of my screen to about 120-130% to be able to adequately read without being uncomfortably close.
The pros of this for me: Able to read and recline in my chair.
The cons of this for me: All photos/signatures/avatars and basically everything else about the site that doesn't need to be enlarged, is. Because of this, the quality reduces.
Silver lining:
"d2jsp Default Blue - Big Font" color scheme setting solves this issue.
Signatures, screenshots, avatars, and any image in between is kept at it's original format, while making it easier to read the meat.
Suggestion:
Why not make this option more broad, passive, and standalone?
The reason I suggest this is due to the fact that a larger text size is limited only to the d2jsp default skin, which utilizes white backgrounds, making it difficult to stare at for extended periods of time.
Because of this, I resort to the darker color schemes such as "[Gray/Blue] - theangeloffury" used in my profile.
Solution:
Example solution: Settings -> Account Settings -> Text size -> Increase/Decrease "-5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0 , 1, 2, 3, 4, 5" (dropdown box will be here)
If this method isn't viable, then perhaps a secondary color scheme for each existing set similar to the "d2jsp Default Blue - Big Font"
Example solution: "[Gray/Blue] - theangeloffury - Big Font"
Epilogue:
I know I can reduce the brightness to my screen directly, but I'd rather not do that to simply accommodate for my d2jsp usage.
I've tried juggling this before, and it's not worth the constant hassle.
To add to the cons of having a bright white screen (d2jsp default blue), I'm normally in a room where my other half is attempting to sleep.
