This suggestion involves making rules that involves getting the person's quote you want to use as a signature, or even just the name, must be prohibited and lead to permanent ban, if the permission is not given through a moderator.

The reason i am suggestion this is because i have been bullied, harassed and being taken advantage of for their own personal fun, for a very long time now, and the moderators won't to anything about it. My signatures is the only means of defense i have, and i really hate to waste my signature space doing it, but i see no other option.

Why is it okay to use someone else's name to bully and harass someone by taking their quote for themselves, without the person's authorization? To me it makes no sense.

If it is harassment - report it to the appropriate moderating group.

Members++ handle signature violations.

You can't limit someones expression of "free speech" - granted you could argue that it is considered "hate speech" if it is as bad as you claim - report it, and move on. d2jsp is a public forum, posting anything on here is grounds for someone else to use it how they please.

So everyone who wants to quote a person in their sig needs to pm a moderator and ask if it's ok?

Why would any moderator ever agree to that unless they want to hand around 24/7.
