Blizzard has announced that they will open up Classic servers for World of Warcraft, which was hugely different from the current game.

There is no release date yet but there are still a ton of things to discuss.

I think a classic discussion forum won't be necessary until we get closer to the actual official release. Until then I think the current World of Warcraft subforum will suffice just fine for any discussion pertaining to Classic.
Currently I don't think we should expect Classic to land before around Q3-Q4 2018, probably later (purely speculation of course).
