Maybe this has already been suggested but I think it would be cool to be able to tag someone in a post... Could set it up so it works like facebook with @XXXXXXX and if posted that user would get a notification via their registered email or PM or something similar. Maybe a preference setting to choose where you want your tag notifications sent?

Can you explain why this would be useful? I'm having a hard time imagining why I'd use this. Also you might want to add a poll.

Convenience, would be nice to call someones attention to something without having to directly message them. Adds a usual feature, etc. More of a conversational tool then a trading tool. Just another useful feature that would help enhance the D2JSP experience, which in turn means more users and better community? Look around facebook, twitter, etc... I'm not claiming this to be a groundbreaking concept but it is certainly used a lot these days.

I don't use D2JSP nearly as much as I use to, was just posting something and thought it would be cool if I could tag a couple other old/inactive friends in the discussion and it would notify them externally so that maybe once and a while they might come back and join in.
