As this game is quite old, and most people are here to enjoy the game.
Of coruse, there are some bots, but actually. Rigth now, there are alot of legit players running around in the chaos sanctuary!

Well, it also depends if there is enough people interested in walkthroughs/speedrunning diablo 2.(Diablo II Discussion - Walkthrough)
In this subforum we can share experiences with walkthroughs, such as drops, what level you killed baal hell on, how long it took you to reach baal normal nm hell etc.
So well, if there are any diablo 2 fans out there interested in walkthroughs, I suggest you upvote this.

Reason:
Hosting a walkthrough/speedrun with a full 8 man team, is kinda difficult. And it would be easier to get the right kind of people through the right kind of sub forum.


Yeah I know, The reason I post this is because the pvm-section is dead(There are 3 days old post in top 50). There are noone interested in walkthroughs there. :|
But when I post in the trading grounds, there are always one or two who want to join. So something tells me noone is searching for walkthroughs through that subforum.

I understand your point, but taking something from what you said, it seems there are few people interested in walkthroughs.

So, because of that, I believe that adding a new subforum just for walkthroughs is too much.

The problem is, noone joins the walkthroughs through PVM-sub forum. (Those who does, only walks solo).
And I doubt this sub forum will be as dead as "The real dead subforums".

But we'll see how the voting goes, if there are enough people interested in diablo 2 walkthrough, I think it should be added, so we got a place to document our walkthroughs and share experiences.
I get that people who are not interested in this will vote no, obviously, and Im afraid majority of the site is not interested in diablo 2 at all.

No need. Use the pvm section like everyone else does for their sp walks.

The PvM forum has been used for this for years. I don't see what's to be gained from changing this.

The problem is:
People use the pvm section for Solo walks.
One person joined from the Pvm-forum
While 6 ppl joined from the Trading grounds.

There is obviously something that does not work with the pvms ection. People do not use it.



What can be gained?
Well, for starters: We will be able to gather a team much easier,
I wont have to "spam" trading grounds with walkthrough topics.

This is the same issue I had with events. Noone joins!
And if you gonna force me to post my topic in a dead subforum instead of attempting to revive diabllo 2 walkthrough. Well, that means you are killing whatever left I have to do on diablo 2.
And it seems like there are legit players out there who want to join this, But they dont use the PvM forum.



What good does it, if I post a link to a subforum they never gonna visit ever again, cuz they already joined the walk through trading grounds.
I feel we need something for this. Its all up to admins if I'm gonna be Saved or Ruined.
If there are no attempts to fix this, I will most likely just quit d2. So much work just for One walkthrough.

I know it sounds useless, but right now, the pvm forum is useless when it comes to getting 8 players for a walkthrough.

You could possibly advertise this in all realms and post a link to the pvm section, honestly a lot of people might not know about the pvm section, just like people are unaware of the stickies that have builds linked
