So, pm'ing everyone is such a bothersome process.

So, I'd like to suggest to implement a feature where you are able to invite people to your event.
Along with a feature that turns invite on/off.(Profile settings - This option will let people invite you or block all incomming invites)
So, if you do not want to be invited randomly to any events, you can turn it off, making you unable to be invited to any events.
Event is such a dead place, and because ahrdly anyone using it I doubt there will be any spam implementing this feature.

Let's say, you want 7 friends to join your event, and you are sure they want to join.
Inviting them directly into your event, leaving them to accept or decline, would be a much easier process of making an event.


As I mentioned, Event is such a dead place, so I doubt there will be any abuse of the invite button.
And if a user constantly gets invited and dont want it, he can turn the notifications/incomming invites off.

F.ex:
"Invite: ________ <-- Input username."

Or, perhaps, you could make it to invite friends only.

"Invite: ____________ <-- Input friends username."
