SO! as we're all aware, in the Topic Tracker, topics are organized by category-subcategory.

WELL as it may, there is an issue where when there are enough topics tracked spanning multiple pages, they create a duplicate category on the second page, instead of occupying the existing category and bumping the last topic category to the next page.

Here is a GIF image showing the issue in real-time.

Though it's a little blurry, notice I'm highlighting General Chat which has 2 topics tracked, and in the second page it created another category+subcategory for a third tracked topic.

The bug fix would be to make it so that the eldest category gets bumped to the next page, instead of creating anew.

If you're interested in doing this, you theoretically already can manually. Go into each topic that is sandwiched between the two general chat sub forum areas, then in the topic tracker page unsubscribe all of said sandwiched topics. The two general chat subforum posts will condense into one. Then resubsribe to each topic manually in the order you want them to appear.

At the moment this is the only way to re-organize the list of topics you have in the topic tracker. There was already a site suggestion that would allow you to reposition topics (bump them up or down on the topic tracker page) that would solve this issue.

But, yes, there should be a much easier way for people to organize and keep track of their topics than the current.

Make a poll :)

Having to unsubscribe and re-subscribe is not only a giant pain and impossible to do with closed topics (ones that aren't stickies) that you want to keep track of/keep sake like I do, but It also means having to do it in such order that your least important topics would be done FIRST so that your more important ones would be on the first page as they are now. This means sitting down and organizing them via paper or some sort of management, and then figuring out the orders to do them in.

I voted on the Site Suggestion that you speak of, it would make this issue manageable but still not FIXED :P

As for making a poll, I would do so if this were a Site Suggestion, but as the title implies.. This is a Bug Report ;)

Thank you for your insite!

Bump - Discovered that when second page is active, tracked guild topics remain in their correct single category! this is a good sign :)
