Description:

Currently when you've got the Instant Messenger webclient open and you post on your topic, you get a notification (see picture below).

Suggestion:

Filter notifications so when you're posting on your own topic, it does not pop up.
It is sometimes confusing when you hear the sound of new reply, thinking someone's replied to one of your topics and then you realize it was your bump/ reply rather than someone else replying on the topic.

I don't think it's a bug. More likely just filter that has not been added. Let's hope we can get it fixed!

the first time i used the messenger i was surprised that i didn't get notifications for topics i am subscribed to in the topic tracker

Done, it should no longer have a notification when you reply on your own topic.
