Checked name availability and discovered that names are not permitted symbols. While I have no quams with this, I do, however, wonder why. I have seen others with _s in their names. Just wondering if it would be possible to have this option reinstated?

In the past this was possible, but it was changed and will not be changed back. Members who created their names before the change have been allowed to keep the special characters in their name.
