I noticed a lot of people post extensive threads on the progress of their characters in both Diablo and other single player games. I'm sure it would be fun to create a section that would allow players to create and manage text based PnP RPG games within JSP. I have used other websites that are entirely dedicated to this but I feel it would be better on jsp.

I don't know how much interested there would be for this.
Role Playing Games general forum would probably be best to post games such as this. http://forums.d2jsp.org/forum.php?f=217
I don't see much need to expand beyond that forum.
