Basically, I feel there should be a check box where you can force people to add a comment in order to send you FG. Yes, people may accidentally not send you fg because of it. You as the receiver should be more cautious.

I hate looking at my gold log and think... what did i trade the person for? why did they send me XXX.XXfg?

I feel this should be a check box where it isn't forced on all users but rather an option.

If it were required, you'd get a lot of "asdfg" comments. Those who want to add a comment, naturally will. Works the same vice versa.

Why not just ask the buyer to add a comment upon sending fg if you would like?

what about the other option I posted? Being able to fill in the comment after?

IMO that's a whole different suggestion in itself, which would be nice for you to add your own comment in the log for received fg. Not sure if it's possible but for that I would say yes.

If a person wants to put a comment, he will put one naturally.
I don't see why an option to force the user should be added. Every user is free to make his own choice about it.

Seems useless if you want to know why someone sent fg pm them.Also if your anal about knowing what fg went for then log it in a blog.

Why not add the reason why the FG was sent in your d2jsp Notepad (in settings)?

Not everyone wants to be forced to give a reason for sending FG, and not everyone feels a need to look back on old records to see why FG was sent.

I'm happy you posted a suggestion but I don't think this one works.

I agree with Nico. Would be nice to comment your own gold logs, just like a note without of changing original comment.
